Rims

19-Inch Sports Performance Rims for Mercedes, Lexus, Toyota Highlights

• Enhanced Handling and Stability — Larger diameter rims like these 19-inch wheels can improve a vehicle's handling by reducing sidewall flex. This often translates to a more responsive feel and increased stability during cornering.
• Aesthetic Appeal — Upgrading to larger, sportier rims is a popular modification for enhancing a vehicle's visual presence. 19-inch wheels can give a more aggressive and premium look to cars like Lexus IS models.
• Tire Sidewall Considerations — When fitting larger rims, the overall tire diameter is often maintained by using tires with a lower profile (shorter sidewall). This can affect ride comfort, making it slightly firmer.
• Potential for Improved Braking — Larger diameter wheels can sometimes accommodate larger brake rotors and calipers. This can lead to improved braking performance, especially under demanding conditions.
• Weight and Performance Impact — While larger rims can enhance aesthetics, their weight can impact acceleration and fuel efficiency. Lighter-weight performance rims are often sought after to mitigate this.
