Alctron DI100 Active DI Box

Alctron DI100 Active DI Box Highlights

• Active DI Box Functionality: Active DI boxes convert unbalanced instrument signals to balanced microphone-level signals. This process is crucial for connecting high-impedance sources like guitars and basses to low-impedance mixer inputs without signal loss or noise.
• Impedance Matching: DI boxes are designed to match the impedance between your instrument and your audio interface or mixer. This ensures optimal signal transfer and prevents tone degradation.
• Ground Lift Switch: Many DI boxes feature a ground lift switch to help eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops. This is a common issue when connecting multiple audio devices.
• Balanced XLR Output: The balanced XLR output is standard for professional audio connections, providing a robust and noise-resistant signal path to your mixer or audio interface.
• Phantom Power Operation: This type of DI box typically operates using phantom power supplied by the mixer or audio interface. This eliminates the need for batteries.
