Audio-Technica AT2035 Condenser Microphone

Audio-Technica AT2035 Condenser Microphone Highlights

• Large-Diaphragm Condenser: The AT2035 is a side-address, large-diaphragm condenser microphone. Large diaphragms generally provide a smoother, more natural sound with better transient response compared to small-diaphragm microphones.
• Cardioid Polar Pattern: This microphone features a cardioid polar pattern, which primarily picks up sound from the front while rejecting sound from the sides and rear. This makes it effective for isolating a sound source and minimizing background noise.
• Low-Frequency Roll-Off: Equipped with a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter, the AT2035 helps reduce the pickup of low-frequency ambient noise, such as air conditioning or traffic rumble. It also helps to compensate for the proximity effect when the microphone is used very close to a sound source.
• Durable Construction: Audio-Technica microphones are known for their robust build quality. The AT2035 is designed to withstand the rigors of professional studio and live use, ensuring reliability over time.
• Versatile Application: The AT2035 is well-suited for a variety of recording applications, including vocals, acoustic instruments, and overheads. Its balanced frequency response and clear sound reproduction make it a versatile tool for home studios and project studios.
