Flat Choke Chain Collar 3.5mm x 60cm

Flat Choke Chain Collar 3.5mm x 60cm Highlights

• Chain Collar Design: Chain collars, also known as choke chains, are designed to tighten when the dog pulls, providing a correction. They are often used for training purposes to discourage pulling on the leash.
• Proper Fit is Crucial: A properly fitted chain collar should rest high on the dog's neck, just behind the ears. It should not be too loose, as it could slip off, nor too tight, to avoid restricting breathing or causing injury.
• Training Tool Considerations: Chain collars are best used under the guidance of a knowledgeable trainer. Incorrect use can lead to physical or psychological harm to the dog. They are not suitable for all dogs or all training situations.
• Material and Durability: These collars are typically made from metal, such as stainless steel or chrome-plated steel, offering durability and resistance to rust. The gauge of the metal affects its strength and weight.
• Collar Length and Breed: The length of the collar is important for a proper fit. For example, a 60cm collar is generally suitable for medium to large breeds, but individual neck measurements are always recommended.
