Foredge PS2010G 8-Port Gigabit Managed PoE Switch + 2 SFP Highlights

• Gigabit Ethernet Ports — This switch features multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports, offering high-speed wired network connections for devices. It supports speeds up to 1000 Mbps for fast data transfer.
• PoE Support — Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability allows the switch to provide electrical power to compatible devices, such as IP cameras or wireless access points, through the Ethernet cable. This simplifies installation by reducing the need for separate power outlets.
• Managed Switch Functionality — As a managed switch, it offers advanced network control and configuration options. This includes features for traffic management, Quality of Service (QoS), and network monitoring, allowing for optimized network performance.
• SFP Uplink Ports — Includes SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) ports, which are designed for fiber optic transceivers. These ports provide high-bandwidth uplinks for connecting to other network switches or backbone infrastructure.
• L2 Switching Capabilities — This switch operates at Layer 2 of the OSI model, meaning it handles data at the MAC address level. It supports features like VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks) for network segmentation and improved security.

Description

• 8 x 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit LAN ports with PoE+ support, ideal for powering IP cameras and access points. • 2 x 1Gbps SFP fiber uplink ports for high-speed connections to core routers or other switches. • L2 managed features accessible via web interface or console for granular network control. • 20Gbps switching capacity ensures smooth data flow for demanding applications like 4K CCTV and VoIP. • Extended power range of 250m on PoE ports, surpassing standard 100m limits for flexible deployment. • 150W total PoE budget provides ample power for connected devices. • Integrated 6kV lightning and 8kV ESD protection safeguards against electrical surges and static discharge.
