Behringer ULTRA-G GI100 DI Box

Behringer ULTRA-G GI100 DI Box Highlights

• Impedance Matching: DI boxes convert high-impedance, unbalanced instrument signals to low-impedance, balanced signals. This allows for longer cable runs without signal degradation and prevents loading down passive pickups.
• Ground Lift Switch: A ground lift switch helps eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops. Engaging this switch disconnects the ground pin on the XLR output, isolating the audio signal from the mains earth.
• Passive vs. Active: Passive DI boxes use transformers to perform impedance conversion and isolation. They are simple, require no power, and are ideal for high-output instruments like active basses and keyboards.
• Durable Construction: DI boxes are often built with robust metal enclosures to withstand the rigors of live performance and frequent transport. This ensures reliable operation in demanding environments.
